Summary:PURPOSE:To attain a cursor control method/device which can easily confirm a cursor on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:A cursor CS is shown on a display screen SC of a display device used to a computer device, etc., in order to show the position of a processing subject. The shift of the CS is controlled based on the inputted cursor shift command information. Under such conditions, the prescribed specific input given from an input means is decided. In response to the decision of the input, the CS is shifted to a prescribed coordinate position MHP on the screen SC or displayed with emphasis at its present position.
