PURPOSE:To obtain the method for formation of the chassis for a composite through type capacitor with which the number of manufacturing processes can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:In the title method for formation of a chassis, to be used for a composite through type capacitor, containing a process in which through holes are provided for arrangement of a plurality of composite through type capacitors using a mold 20 detachably provided with a plurality of perforated type part leaving the prescribed intervals, the above-mentioned perforation type parts are mounted to or dismounted from the mold 20 corresponding to the number of through type capacitors to be arranged on the aforesaid chassis 2, and holes are formed only on the part where the through type capacitors are arranged. As a result, the same mold can be used even when the number of the through type capacitor is increased or decreased, the number of processes can be reduced, and the cost of product can also be cut down.
