PURPOSE:To obtain conductive material being provided with conductivity, light weight and good process performance by letting carbon material or metallic material of three dimensional network structure having continuous pores be impregnated with resin. CONSTITUTION:Polyvinyl acetal series resin, pore forming agent, phenol resin and the like are mixed, and hardened by the existence of heating material, and thereafter carbon material or metallic material of three dimensional network structure having continuous pores obtained by heat treatment is soaked in a liquid monomer or polymerization intermediate or molten polymer, by which all of or part of pores within the above-mentioned carbon material or metallic material are penetrated by increasing the pressure, and thereafter the liquid material is cured by polymerizating reaction or cooling. The composite material can easily be penetrated by the monomer, the polymerization intermediate or the molten polymer into the pores by providing low pressure condition, and after that the excellent composite material without any void is obtained by increasing the pressure, polymerizing reaction and cooling to cure.
