Summary:PURPOSE:To offer a display controller which eliminates a frame memory and eliminates the need for data conversion. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is equipped with a memory 1A which is stored with a Y-axis direction value in an address corresponding to an X-axis direction value in data of which a value of Y-axis is fixed corresponding to a value of X-axis, a control circuit 2 which outputs X-axis position information and Y-axis position information synchronized with the scanning of a display unit 6 and reads Y-axis values out of the memory 1A with the X-axis position information, and a comparator 3A which compares the Y-axis position information read out of the memory 1A with the Y-axis position information and outputs the comparison result on the display unit 6.
