Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a furnace wall structure of a high temperature burning furnace wherein crack or breakage is not produced in the surface layer of the structure even if it is used repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:In a metallic outer board 1, a surface layer 2, an intermediate layer 3 and an inner layer 4 are fixed by means of pins. The layer 2 is made mainly of fiber board for high temperature use and fixed by main pins 5. The intermediate layer 3 is composed of fiber blanket layers and fiber felt layers and fixed to the outer board 1 by auxiliary pins 6 located between the main pins 5. The inner layer 4 is fixed by second auxilary pins 7 located between the pins 5, 6. The motion of the layer 3 which pushes up the layer 2 can be restrained by the pins 6.
