Summary:PURPOSE:To continue a work in a long time even in case of small remaining quantity of fuel by driving an engine at low speed with a control device, when a remaining quantity of fuel in a fuel tank becomes small. CONSTITUTION:It is supposed that a fuel economizing switch 8 is operated, a drilling work is continued, and an engine 2 is set at maximum rotating speed by an engine speed setting means 5. In this case, when fuel in a fuel tank is less than a prescribed quantity and a fuel remaining quantity detecting switch 3 is ON, a control device 7 confirms that an actuator is driven and an operation detecting means 4 is ON, clears the delay time counted till that time, and selects the low rotating speed NM stored in a memory part. A drive signal corresponding to the low rotating speed NM is output to an engine speed control means 6. Hereby, the engine speed becomes the lower rotating speed NM than the setting speed, operating speed of the actuator falls, but the work can be continued in a relative long time.
