Summary:PURPOSE:To attain sure information transfer without causing an unpleasant signal tone to a subscriber and not being disturbed by a channel voice signal by transferring information after a channel of a busy subscriber terminal equipment is selected. CONSTITUTION:Under the control of a central controller(CC) 4 of an exchange, a signal for changeover control of a channel of a telephone set (TEL) 5 is sent from a signal transmission reception circuit (SND/REC) 3 to an information reception adaptor (ADP) 6 at a subscriber terminal equipment side. A control circuit (CTL) 11 controls a switch circuit (SW) 9 to select a channel to the TEL 5 by a report from a signal reception circuit (REC) 7 of the subscriber terminal equipment receiving the signal and a signal representing the end of changeover is sent to the exchange via a signal transmission circuit (SND) 8. Upon the receipt of the signal by the SND/REC 3, a CC 4 controls the SND/ REC 3 to transfer information. The information is received by the REC 7 in the ADP 6 and displayed on a display section (DISP) 10.
