Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the damping beam of a large span and a small body excellent in damping property. CONSTITUTION:On a beam steel frame 11, a damper 15 is fitted, and expansion or contraction due to an external force between the displacing section 15a of the damper 15 and the flange section of the beam steel frame is contrived to be transmitted to the damper 15. When an external force due to the walking or the like of human beings is worked on a beam and the beam steel frame is elastically deformed and the flange is expanded or contracted, then the expansion or contraction is transmitted to the damper, and the external force is attenuated by the damper, and so the beam of a large span excellent in oscillation performance can be obtained. When a guide body for guiding a connecting member is formed with a PC plate body connected to the lower side flange, then the rigidity of the beam is heightened by about 1.5-2.0 times, and the guide body is easily formed.
