PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of projection to floor, improve safety and make it look more attractive by covering the end edge of a lower rail and the whole of a bracket by means of a protective cover. CONSTITUTION:A protective cover(12) has a bracket covering section(12a) and rail covering section(12b). By fixing the protective cover(12) to the leg bracket(3) fixed to the floor(F), the bracket covering section (12a) covers the whole of the leg bracket (3), and the rail covering section(12b) and the upper piece(1c) of a lower rail(1) range in flat, and the rail covering section(12b) covers the end edge(1d) of the lower rail(1) eliminating the projection feeling of on the floor(F) resulting in the improvement of outward appearance. Since the lower piece (7c) of an upper rail(7) can move in the groove section(12c) of the protective cover(12), even if the end of the upper rail(7) overhangs from the end edge of the lower rail(1), the upper rail (7) can freely move.
