Summary:PURPOSE:To remarkably shorten the time required for a round of a sheet body by selecting the distance between a first feeding means and a driving means and the distance between a second feeding means and the driving means less than the length of the sheet body, and determining the distance between a guide means and the driving means as long as possible. CONSTITUTION:With respect to the distance between rollers 43a, 43b (first feeding means) and rollers 37a, 37b (driving means), and the distance between rollers 59a, 59b (second feeding means) and the rollers 37a, 37b, these are set shorter than the length of an estimated minimum recording paper, and under this condition, the setting position of a direction changing claw 35 (guide means) is made close to the rollers 34a, 34b, 59a, 59b as much as possible. Hence, the period in which a first manuscript and a second manuscript overlap each other in a third carrying passage 30c can be set as long as possible. Thus, the operation speed is improved, compared with the control in which only one manuscript is present in the carrying passage 30c as prior arts.
