PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of strength of concrete in a boundary portion between readymixed concrete and mud so as to obtain homogeneous concrete by using impervious liquid obtained by suspending a water soluble high molecular compound, an inorganic compound and a dispersant in water between readymixed concrete and mud. CONSTITUTION:Impervious liquid for a mud engineering method containing a water soluble high molecular compound, an inorganic compound and a dispersant is poured in a hole 2 filled with mud 1 from the top portion of a cylindrical concrete placing pipe 4, and deposited at the bottom of the hole to form an impervious layer 5. Subsequently, readymixed concrete 6 is poured from the cylindrical concrete placing pipe 4 to form a readymixed concrete layer 8 under the impervious layer 5. With the placing of the readymixed concrete 6, the mud 1 and impervious liquid overflow in order from the upper end of the hole 2 to be collected by a pump. Thus, lowering of strength of a boundary portion between the readymixed concrete 6 and the mud 1 can be prevented, the work can be omitted and the work period can be reduced.
