Summary:PURPOSE:To eliminate possiblities of operations by a first torque reducing means and a second torque reducing means to be conflicting to each other by forcedly controlling actuation of the first torque reducing means to reduce and engine torque to the maxinum in case a delay angle quantity for an ignition timing by the second torque reducing means is more than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A torque control unit 75 controls actuation of a first torque reducing means to set a drive toruqe of an engine 11 to be a desired drive toruqe, and it controls actuation of a second torque reducing means based on a change quantity of slip. Actuation of the fitst torque reducing means is controlled to reduce the drive torque of the engine 11 to the maximum regardless of a hold drive torque in case a delay angle quantity for an ignition timing of the engine 11 by the second torque reducing means is more than a predetermined value. Possibilities of operatins by both reducing means to the conflicting to each other are thus eliminated in reducing the drive torque of the engine 11.
