Summary:PURPOSE:To suppress an increase in NOX by stabilizing the controllability of a combustion burner at the time of operating a continuous heating furnace at a low load. CONSTITUTION:A continuous combustion furnace 1 provides a low flow rate bypass circuits 16, 17 that are respectively provided with small flow rate range flow rate adjusting valves 24, 26 and flow rate detectors 25, 27 in parallel to the fuel supply piping 14 leading to a combustion burner 6 and flow rate adjusting valves 19, 22 and flow rate detectors 20, 23 of an air supply piping 15. Accordingly to the load rate of the heating furnace main pipings 18, 21 and/or a gas supply volume controller 32 and air supply volume controller 34 that control the switching of the flow rate adjusting valves 19, 22, 24, 26 and an air supply volume controller 34 are provided. With this arrangement the accuracy in the combustion control in the low load operation is raised and it is possible to carry out a stable combustion control and suppress an increase of NOX in the exhaust gas and, furthermore, the equipment cost is inexpensive.
