Summary:PURPOSE:To detect angular velocity accurately by rotating a magnet as a rotating body without contact. CONSTITUTION:An inner case 724 is provided inside an outer case 708, while a magnet 3 is provided rotatably inside the inner case 724. When angular velocity occurs, the magnet 3 and the inner case 724 tilt with respect to the outer case 708 by a rotating ring 718 to an angle where precession torque and spring force of magnetic fluid 2 are balanced. Hall elements 41, 42 detect the inclination of the magnet to have the angular velocity calculated.
