Summary:PURPOSE:To allow the system to easily cope with the reduction in the construction cost and the increase/decrease in a power generating plant being an object of supervision by sending information of an optional power generating plant to a central supervisory station through a telephone line connected via a MO DEM unit from a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with personal computers 5a-5d fetching information from supervisory controllers 2a-2d of power generating plants 1a-1d and MODEM units 6a-6d connecting the personal computers 5a-5d to a telephone line 10 corresponding to each of the power generating plants 1a-1d. Moreover, a central supervisory station 7 is provided with a personal computer 8 implementing operation management and central supervisory of the power generating plants 1a-1d and with a MODEM unit 9 connecting the personal computer 8 to the telephone line 10. Then the information of an optional plant of the power generating plants 1a-1d is sent to the central supervisory station 7 through the telephone line 10 connecting to the MODEM units 6a-6d from the personal computers 5a 5d. Thus, the system easily copes with the reduction in the construction cost and the increase/decrease in the power generating plant being an object of supervision.
