PURPOSE:To prevent aside attached characters from being overlapped each other by investigating the arrangement relation of aside attached characters and deciding the moving amount of the aside attached characters or the ratio of the movement to a character to attach the aside attached characters. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to the result of discriminating the arranging state of respective aside attached characters, the amount of vertically moving the aside attached characters to the character with the aside attached characters is decided so as not to contact the aside attached characters each other. Thus, in comparison with the case of deciding the moving amount of the aside attached characters and the ratio of the movement simply according to the degree of multiplexing the aside attached characters, the movement of the aside attached characters can be limited only in an irreducibly minimum case and the state of arranging characters to be clearly read can be realized. Further, since the aside attached characters can be always displayed while being vertically shifted, the aside attached characters can be displayed even without reducing the character size of the aside attached character itself so much, and at this point of view, the characters are displayed to be clearly read.
