PURPOSE:To constitute the drying machine so that tableware and a tableware basket can be taken in and out easily by constituting this machine so that the whole tableware basket can be drawn out in front, and making an opened opening/closing cover does not so much disurb taking-in-and-out of the tableware and taking-in-and-out of the tableware basket. CONSTITUTION:On a basket placing wall part 4 of a drying machine main body 1, a tableware basket 21 is provided so as to be movable along the forward and the backward directions. Accordingly, the tableware basket 21 can be drawn out to this side in a state that opening/closing covers 11, 12 are opened, and its drawing-out is controlled by a fact that an engaging part 22a of the tableware basket 21 abuts on a stopper 26 formed in a front side wall part 6 of the drying machine main body 1. By such a control, it does not occur that the tableware basket 21 is drawn out excessively and detached from on the basket placing wall part 4 and dropped, and it can be drawn out safely. Also, since the whole tableware basket 21 can be drawn out/in from as mentioned above, the part covered with the opened opening/closing covers 11, 12 in this basket can be made small. Accordingly, the number of times that the opened opening/closing covers 11, 12 disturb at the time of taking in and out tableware and the tableware basket 21 can be decreased.
