Summary: | PURPOSE:To easily obtain single-crystalline Ni-Zn ferrite by considerable growth by interposing a compd. contg. a specified element between single-crystalline Mn-Zn ferrite and polycrystalline Ni-Zn ferrite, joining them, heating and holding the joined body. CONSTITUTION:A compd. 1 contg. K, Rb or Cs, e.g. chloride, carbonate, alkoxide or acetylacetone complex salt is interposed between single-crystalline Mn-Zn ferrite 2 and polycrystalline Ni-Zn ferrite 3 and they are joined and heated to >=1,370 deg.C, preferably >=1,400 deg.C desirably under 1-10kg/cm pressure. By this heating, a solid phase reaction is allowed to take place and the polycrystalline Ni-Zn ferrite is converted into single-crystalline Ni-Zn ferrite. |
