Summary: | PURPOSE:To surely detect whether a coordinate designating device should be pressed or not and at the same time to improve the coordinate designating accuracy with the linearity secured between the pressed position and the detected voltage by separating electrically a non-press detecting resistance from a surface resistance sheet of the other side when the designated coordinates are read. CONSTITUTION:A press detecting resistance B connected in series to one of two surface resistance sheets is provided together with a non-press detecting resistance A which is connected to the other surface resistance sheet through one of both ends of the resistance A and grounded through the other end respectively, and a separating means 10 which separates electrically the resistance A from the other surface resistance sheet when the designated coordinates are read. When an input board 2 is pressed and detected, the resistance separating signal is set at a low level with the resistance A kept in connection to a switch circuit 5. Thus it is possible to surely detect whether the board 2 is pressed or not. Then the resistance A is electrically separated from the surface resistance sheet in a read state of the designated coordinates and the linear corresponding relation is secured between the designated coordinate value and the detected voltage. Then the coordinate detecting accuracy is improved. |
