Summary:PURPOSE:To easily transmit digital data to external equipment by lighting a light emitting means to make warning when a warning signal is selected and optically transmitting the stored digital data by flickering the light emitting means in accordance with a fluctuation in the level of a serial signal when this signal is selected. CONSTITUTION:A general-purpose output terminal 12 which outputs the warning signal of a level H and an SiO terminal 13 which outputs the serial signal indicating the digital potential waveform data read out of a RAM 10 are provided in a CPU 7. The general-purpose output terminal 12 side is normally selected by a switch 14 and the LED 8 is lighted in accordance with the warning signal outputted from the general-purpose output terminal 12 of the CPU 7. On the other hand, the SiO terminal 13 side is selected and the LED 8 is flickered in accordance with the fluctuation in the level of the serial signal indicating the digital potential waveform data outputted from the SiO terminal 13 of the CPU 7 at the time of optically transmitting the digital potential waveform data read out of the RAM 10 to the external equipment. The digital potential waveform data is then transmitted by optical communication.
