Summary: | PURPOSE:To enable water filling in a nozzle from the device side and removal of the device safely and exactly without operating other system by leading the cooling water in a reactor pressure vessel directly to the nozzle inside using a water supply pipe provided with an isolation means. CONSTITUTION:A choking plate 20 is fixed inside of a nozzle 11 to choke it from the inside of a reactor pressure vessel 10. In the near center of the choking surface 20a on the plate 20, one end of a water supply pipe 22 opens, and the other end penetrates the plate 20 to project inside of the vessel 10 and connects to on isolation means 23 to close the path in the water supply pipe 22 between the vessel 10 and the nozzle 11. To remove this device, the means 23 (for example, a valve) connected to the water supply pipe 22 is remotely handled with a proper zig to open. This the cooling water 13 in the vessel 10 is directly supplied in the nozzle 11 to fill up to the same water level as in the vessel 10. By this, the operation of other system such as valve and pump is not necessary and water filling in the nozzle is attained with the single device. |
