PURPOSE:To facilitate data reading and writing by means of a display device and an input device and to facilitate data management regarding containers and contents by providing a transmitter and receiver in the container and a managing device. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 3 of a managing device (a), receiving a reading-out command or a writing-in command by an INPUT signal from an input device 5i and an outer input and output device 1, lights up a container location device 6 to turn ON a transmitting and receiving device 4a. In the case of the reading-out command, data is coded and transmitted to a container transmission (b), where the data is read out. The data transmitted from the container transmission (b) is received, decoded and stored in a storing device 2a, and the received data is displayed in a display device 5o. In the case of the writing-in command, this is displayed in the display device 5o and stored in the storing device 2a. After the storing device 2a which codes commands and transmits coded commands to the container device (b) receives a writing finish signal, the writing finish signal is decoded and a finish display is displayed in the display device 5o. A CPU 8 determines a command signal transmitted from the managing device (a) and transmits coded data or a finish signal to the managing device (a).
