Summary:PURPOSE:To curtail LSI parts provided with the function of a microprocessor, and to miniaturize a device by saving the contents of all registers to be used for execution of a microinstruction in the microprocessor to a saving register. CONSTITUTION:In the case that necessity to execute processing such as conversion between a logical address and a physical address and an interpreting of a command and so on arises in a fixed disk device, the request of interruption processing from a system bus interface control part, a fixed disk controller, and a mechanical control part of the requesting origin of the processing is transmitted to an MPU 1 as a microsteal request signal 15. Besides, simultaneously with it, a temporary register group 2 in the MPU 1 to be used temporarily by the microinstruction for executing the microinstruction and a state flag and the like 3 in the MPU 1 to be used temporarily by the microinstruction for executing the microinstruction are stored automatically in the saving register groups 16,17 respectively by hardware. Thus, the number of packaging parts can be reduced, and the miniaturization of an information processing system can be attained.
