Summary:PURPOSE:To use a chain as a distribution pattern to prevent breakout by storing the positions of points where upper peaks of temperature have occurred and transforming the respective positions of points where the upper peaks of temperature have occurred to the arrival positions at the same time corresponding to the casting speed. CONSTITUTION:Detection of the upper peaks of the actual temperature is limited to positions where temperature sensors 2 exist but when they are moved in the lower direction corresponding to the casting speed on the imaginary vertical surface, an imaginary position not limited to the arranged positions of the temperature sensors 2 can be obtained. When only imaginary positions at the same time are selected and plotted on an imaginary vertical surface and constrained break out can be generated, a plotted distribution pattern takes a V or U form and a pattern similar to this pattern moves downward with time. When such a phenomenon is generated the constrained break out can be foreseen to occur in future.
