Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain the subject sheetlike material, excellent in design effects rich in solid color sense with a difference in color shading by laminating a specific cellular colored resin layer on the surface of a sheet substrate containing a polymer elastomer and forming an uneven design on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A leathery sheetlike material is obtained by forming a colored resin layer of a cellular structure composed of a polyurethane resin containing a color pigment or dye and carbon black in an amount of 0.05-0.5 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. resin content on the surface of a well-known sheet substrate prepared by filling a fibrous substrate composed of a nonwoven, woven or knitted fabric with a polymer elastomer such as the polyurethane similar to that described above, pressurizing a heated mold onto the surface thereof and forming an uneven design. The resultant leathery sheetlike material is excellent in design effects rich in solid color sense with a great difference in color shading between pressurized parts and unpressurized parts. |
