Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent an excessive load from being exerted on a module frame occasioned by rolling and pitching of a ship by providing elbow plates secured to a ship hull structure and the module frame and a doubling plate fastened against the two elbow plates by means of bolts, and forming an oblong bolt hole in the one of a pair of bolt fastening parts. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of frame modules 1 arranged in an engine room 3 of a ship 2 are formed of a module frame 5 on which fittings are mounted. The frame modules are coupled to a longitudinal through-partition 9 by means of a coupling tool 8. The coupling tool 8 comprises an elbow plate 10 secured to the longitudinal through-partition wall 9, an elbow plate 11 secured to the module plate 5, and doubling plates 14 nipping the two elbow plates 10 and 11 from both sides and reinforcing the elbow plates 10 and 11. The elbow plates 10 and 11 and the doubling plate 14 are fastened together by means of a plurality of bolts. In this case, a plurality of oblong bolt holes 13 are formed in the elbow plate 11. This constitution causes the occurrence of a slip between the elbow plate 11 and the doubling plate 14 when an excessive load is exerted on bolt fastening parts 17 and 18 and prevents an excessive force from being exerted on the module frame 5. |
