Summary: | PURPOSE:To facilitate supply of hot water at a desired temperature into a bathtub or the like, by providing a means for controlling the temperature of hot water supplied through regulating the mixing ratio at a mixing valve on the basis of data sent from a temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:Water raised in temperature by heating in a main body l of a water heater is mixed with cold water by a variable mixing ratio type mixing valve 8 under the control of a controller 15, whereby hot water at a desired temperature is supplied to the exterior. The controller 15 is capable of setting a target temperature for hot water to be supplied into a hot water tank such as a bathtub. The controller 15 controls the temperature of hot water to be supplied through regulating the mixing ratio at the mixing valve 8 on the basis of data sent from a sensor 14 for hot water temperature in the tank 7, which is to be supplied with hot water. When the hot water temperature in the tank 7 detected by the sensor 14 is lower than a set temperature, the control means supplies hot water at a temperature higher than the set temperature so as to obtain the set temperature. When the detected temperature is higher than the set temperature, the control means supplies hot water at a temperature lower than the set temperature so as to obtain the set temperature. Hot water at a desired temperature is thus easily supplied into a hot water tank such as a bathtub. |
