Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a steel excellent in liquid metal Pb embrittlement resistance by specifying its compsn. constituted of C, Si, Mn, Al, N, Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, V, Nb, Ti, Band Fe and the total amt. of the alloy elements to be added. CONSTITUTION:This steel is constituted of a compsn. contg., by weight, 0.03 to 0.20% C, 0.05 to 0.70% Si, 0.40 to 1.70% Mn, 0.005 to 0.10% Al and <=0.0160% N, furthermore, according to the request for its high toughness, contg. one or more kinds among <=0.5% Cu, <=0.5% Ni, <=0.5% Cr, <=0.5% Mo, <=0.15% V, <=0.05% Nb, <=0.03% Ti and <=0.0005% B and the balance Fe with impurities, and simultaneously, the total amt. of the alloy elements to be added, i.e., PLME: 390-870C+520Si-310Mn-630Cr+1460V-1690Nb+2100Ti-60000B+20000N is regulated to PLME>=65. In this way, the steel excellent in liquid metal Pb embrittlement resistance when it is used in contact with metal Pb in a molten state can be obtd. |
