Summary:PURPOSE:To save hot rolling and to obtain the above steel sheet having a high magnetic flux by adequately controlling the cooling after solidification in a rapid cooling solidification method. CONSTITUTION:A molten steel contg., by weight%, 2.5 to 6.5 Si, 0.02 to 0.15 Mn, and 0.01 to 0.05 S, as basic components is rapidly cooled and solidified at the solidification point to obtain the solidified phase solutionized with a sulfide at the time of continuously casting this molten steel to the thin slab having 0.3 to 3.0mm thickness. The molten steel is subjected to the fine precipitation treatment of the sulfide to execute rapid cooling at >=100 deg.C/sec in the deltasingle phase region in the upper part of the gamma loop from the completion of the solidification, then to execute cooling at >=5 deg.C/sec cooling rate in the temp. region down to 700 deg.C. Secondary recrystallization is sufficiently induced during final annealing and GOSS texture is obtd. by this method. The uni-grain-oriented electrical steel sheet which is precipitated with the fine sulfide in the slab, has the high degree of integration of (110) bearings and has the good magnetic characteristics is obtd.
