Summary: | PURPOSE:To lower the tunnel portion of a dash lower part and at the same time facilitate the removal operation of a control rod, by connecting the control rod through a downward offset york with the control rod connecting portion of a striking rod that is protruded further than the operation seat side end of a transmission housing. CONSTITUTION:A final decelerator 14 is housed into the transmission housing 10a of a manual transmission 10 in such a way that the housing 10a is bulged out toward the rear of a vehicle (an operation seat direction). And at the upper end portion of the housing 10a, a striking rod 16 is provided projectingly toward the rear of a vehicle, and this projecting end portion is connected to a shift lever 20 in the vicinity of an operation seat through a control rod 18. In this instance, the above projecting side end portion of the striking rod 16 is projected further than the operation seat side end of the housing 10a, and an offset york 22 is provided at this end portion. And the york is fitted downward, and the vehicle front end portion of the rod 18 is connected turnably to a york end portion offset downward from the striking rod 16. |
