Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in safety, water permeation resistance and corrosion resistance and useful as a coating material, etc., by using an aluminum dihydrogen tripolyphosphate particle having the surface coated with a metal compound in combination with a zinc compound. CONSTITUTION:An objective composition obtained by using an aluminum dihydrogen tripolyphosphate particle having the surface coated with one or more kinds of metal compounds containing a metal selected from Pb, Cr, Zn, Ca, Mg, Ba, Mn, Bi, Co, Sn, Zr, Ti, Sr, Cu, Fe, Li, Al, Ni, Na and K preferably in an amount of 0.1-50wt.% of its metal weight based on aluminum dihydrogen tripolyphosphate in combination with a zinc compound such as zinc oxide preferably in (10/1) to (10/10) weight ratio.
