Summary:PURPOSE:To make it possible to extend the gel time of a slug-water glass grout at will by aging the surface of the particle of a slug powder in air and mixing the resultant slug with water glass. CONSTITUTION:The gel time of a slug-water glass grout is adjusted by mixing the slug with the water glass after the aging of the surface of the particle of the slug powder in air. In this method, aging is effected by leaning the surface of the particle of the slug powder in air or mixing it with air (air blending). In this case, it is possible to adjust freely the gel time by controlling the leaving or mixing time. The slug powder is generally aged especially in 8hr to 2 days in the case of leaving and 20min to 3hr in the case of mixing, and therefore it is possible to adjust the gel time.
