Summary:PURPOSE:To perform the parallel simulation of operation steps by allowing a simulation program, which is generated in the simulation ladder program element generating process, to simulate the operation of operation steps in one operation block. CONSTITUTION:A control program recognizes how many operation blocks should be operated in parallel. Numbers n1, n2...nm are given to (m) blocks, which should be operated in parallel, to denote these blocks as BB1, BB2...BBm, and corresponding operation step maps are rearranged in a memory. An operation block to be subjected to parallel operation is extracted. It is checked whether an execution elapsed time register Tni of the block Bni designated by a variable (i) is equal to a minimum value of elapsed times Tnx (x=1 to m) of all blocks or not. When it is equal to this minimum value, a ladder program element kni is extracted to recognize the interlock condition, and corresponding SSP(n1, kn1) is started. Next, the elapsed time register Tni is updated. Thus, the block Bni is simulated upto the operation step kni.
