PURPOSE:To obtain the title film having excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, water resistance, chemical stability and dimensional stability and high adhesiveness to a metallic sheet even at high temperatures, and essentially comprising a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer. CONSTITUTION:A film for bonding metallic sheets essentially comprising a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer (e.g. a liquid crystal polymer comprising a polyester comprising at least one member selected between an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and at least one member selected from among an aromatic diol, an alicyclic diol and an aliphatic diol, a polyester comprising an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid or a polythiol ester comprising an aromatic thiolcarboxylic acid). This film has excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, water resistance, chemical stability and dimensional stability and high adhesiveness to a metallic sheet even at high temperatures.
