Summary: | PURPOSE:To lengthen the lifetime of a battery for a charger, and to operate an electrical equipment immediately after an electrical equipment body is installed to the charger even when the capacity of the battery is empty by using an output from the charger as an operating power supply when the electrical equipment is operated under the state in which the electrical equipment body is mounted to the charger. CONSTITUTION:When an electrical equipment body 1 is set up to a charger 3, a point A5 is changed into 'H' from 'L', a transistor Q1 is turned ON, and the port A1 of a control circuit 16 is brought to 'L'. When an operating switch not shown is turned ON and the state of operation is brought, the control circuit 16 turns a transistor Q2 ON and a transistor Q3 OFF in a power supply changeover circuit 17. Consequently, voltage V1 obtained by dividing the voltage of a dry cell 11 by resistors R5, R6 is applied to power terminals A5, A6 through a voltage-dividing terminal 10 and the transistor Q2, and a low-frequency output circuit 15 is operated while using the dry cell 11 as a power supply. Power consumed by a battery Bt is charged by a charging circuit 19. |
