Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance of a sole part and the strength of a head, to make a shape of the head larger than conventionally, and also, to make the sense of hitting a ball satisfactory by constituting the part in which a preform of a reinforced fiber or a whisker is placed, and other part, of a fiber reinforced metal and a metallic stock, respectively, and also, embedding a mass body in the vicinity of a toe part or a heel part of the sole part, and moreover, forming the whole golf club head by a hollow integral structure. CONSTITUTION:By executing integral molding simultaneously by a metallic stock 10 for constituting a head 1, the part in which the reinforced fiber 9a a whisker 9b is placed, and other part are constituted of a fiber reinforced metal 11 and the metallic stock 10, respectively, and a mass body 14 is embedded in the vicinity of at least a tone part 6 or a heel part 7 of a sole part 4, and also, the whole head 1 is formed by a hollow integral structure. Being different from a conventional metallic head or fiber reinforced metal head, an external shape of the head is made large. In such a way, even a beginner of a golfer can heat easily a ball, and also, by setting the volume of the head itself to >=200cm , the centroidal position of the head is kept away from the face surface, and also, a sweet area is made large, and the directivity and the flying distance of a hit ball are also improved.
