Summary:PURPOSE:To stably output a laser beam having a narrow band by controlling the wavelength to be passed through a second etalon based on the shift of a predetermined wavelength from an oscillation wavelength of a laser beam by second control means. CONSTITUTION:Part of a laser beam 7 is guided to an interference fringe, detector 9 by a partial reflection mirror 8, and a circular interference fringe formed in the detector 9. Then, a position in which light is condensed is observed by an image sensor 13, analyzed by an image processor 14, and an oscillation wavelength of the beam 7 oscillated at present is obtained. The oscillation wavelength of the beam measured by the detector 9 is output to calculating means 26, the shift of the oscillation wavelength of the beam from a predetermined wavelength is obtained in the means 26, and the shift of a passed central wavelength of a coarsely adjusting etalon 5 is obtained. Sealing pressure, gap length (d) of the etalon 5, or an angle to the beam is regulated through second control means 27 so that the deviation becomes zero to hold the passed central wavelength of the etalon 5 at a predetermined wavelength.
