Summary: | PURPOSE:To enable a vacuum cleaner to easily get over a door-sill or the like without damaging the door-sill or the like by deposing a second roller projecting the outer periphery from the front face of a floor nozzle in front of an inlet port of the floor nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of second rollers 11 formed of a soft material are pivotably supported by a shaft 13 in a lower nozzle member 3 to project the outer periphery in front to the front face 12 of the lower nozzle member 3. When a floor nozzle collides with a door-sill or the like, the second rollers 11 are rotated to ride on and easily get over the door-sill or the like and move to a stage upper than the door-sill. The second roller 11 is supported pivotably by the lower nozzle member 3 through a shaft 14 and bearing 15 and further urged forward by an elastic coiled spring 16 to move forward and backward of the lower nozzle member 3. When the floor nozzle collides with furniture, wall, etc., the second roller 11 enters the lower nozzle member 3, so that the distal end of the floor nozzle makes direct contact with the wall to eliminate dust left unsucked at the wall. |
