Summary: | PURPOSE:To make uniform the gravity acting on a mesh specular surface by a construction wherein the mesh specular surface is installed to be horizontal and the direction of a radio wave is changed onto the scanning surface of a probe by a reflector. CONSTITUTION:A mesh specular surface 12 is supported on a frame 17 o a measuring system to be horizontal by a steel-skeleton material 16. A probe 13 is supported by a frame body 18 on a support frame 21 with a vertical shift member 19 and a lateral shift member 20 interposed so that it is movable vertically and laterally. Support members 24, 26 and 28 are provided with extension- contraction elements 24a, 26a and 28a in the middle parts thereof respectively so that they can be made to extend and contract freely, and a planar reflector 30 can be set at an arbitrary angle above the mesh specular surface 12 by the motions of rotary elements 25, 27 and 29 so that the main beam of a large- sized antenna be directed to the afore-said probe 13. In this structure, a radio wave radiated from a primary radiator 11 is reflected by the mesh specular surface 12 and further by the planner reflector 30 and picked up in the probe 13. |
