PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour of generation by constituting a device to include a data base memory part, first and second operation element data extracting means, an interlock forming means, and a step ladder element forming means. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted to include the data base memory part, first and second operation element data extracting means, the interlock forming means, and the step ladder element forming means. Each of various equipments provided on a production line forms a part of the sequence control program of operations to be successively executed, and various operations to be executed in each equipment are divided into plural operation blocks, and each operation block is divided into plural operation steps. Interlock in step ladder elements corresponding to each operation step is automatically formed, and step ladder elements corresponding to respective operation steps are automatically generated. Thus, the man-hour of generation is reduced at the time of obtaining the sequence control program.
