Summary: | PURPOSE:To shorten the start-up time and protect metals of superheater tubes and reheater tubes by locating the lowermost part of the superheater tubes higher than that of the evaporator tubes. CONSTITUTION:A pressurized fluidized-bed boiler 2 is housed in a pressure vessel 1 of a pressurized fluidized-bed boiler. The pressurized fluidized-bed boiler 2 consists of a fluidized bed A and a free board B, and evaporator tubes 4 and superheater tubes 5 are provided inside the fluidized bed B. At 100% load, the surface of the fluidized bed A is kept at a 100% load level H, and all the heat transfer tubes are submerged in the fluidized bed A, however, at start-up, the surface of the fluidized bed is lowered to a start-up level M. Thereby, only some of the evaporator tubes 4 are submerged in the fluidized bed A and the remaining heat transfer tubes are exposed in the free board B. Therefore, as only the evaporator tubes 4 directly absorb heat in the fluidized bed A at start-up, steam can be generated without anxiety about the metal temperature of the superheater tubes 5, so that the start-up time is shortened. |
