Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a collected dust amount indicator capable of indicating continuously negative pressure in a dust collecting chamber and a dust amount accumulated in a paper bag over a wide range from a small amount to a large one by providing an expansible film body fixed to the center rear end of a pointer and having the outer periphery fixed to a pointer tube by a frame body. CONSTITUTION:A collected dust amount indicator having a dust collecting chamber 2 and a motor 3 provided in a main body 1 has a collected dust amount indicating device 5 disposed on an upper receiving lid 4 in the dust collecting chamber 2 at the front side of the main body to indicate the condition of pressure in the dust collecting chamber 2 from a window hole 7 provided in the receiving lid 6. The device 5 holds a pointer tube 10 on the outer peripheral surface of an end of a connecting tube 9 to be connected to the upper receiving lid 4, and a pointer 11 is disposed in the pointer tube10. The pointer 11 is held by an elastic film body 12 fixed to a holding frame 13 fitted in the pointer tube 10. In cleaning, when dust is accumulated in a paper bag 8, the dust collecting chamber 2 has negative pressure and the pointer tube 10 of the device 5 has negative pressure therein so that the film body 12 is elongated to move the pointer 11 to the connecting tube 9 side. Since the film body 12 is gradually elongated in response to the pressure in the pointer tube 10, the dust amount in the paper bag during cleaning can be grasped from an early period. |
