Summary:PURPOSE:To fabricate a stator having specified hardness and elastic modulus easily by fabricating the stator of an alloy mainly composed of Cu mixed with specific amount of Sn and Ni. CONSTITUTION:A powder material composed of 5wt.% of Sn, 25wt.% of Ni and the remainder of Cu is pressure molded and heated at about 880 deg.C for one hour and then sintered to produce a stator 1. According to the method, corrosion resistance of the stator is enhanced, hardness and elastic modulus preferable for production of traveling wave can be obtained, speed-torque characteristics and output-torque characteristics can be improved.
