Summary:PURPOSE:To alleviate a collision between a magnetic head and a magnetic disk by applying a viscous agent between a piston body and a cylinder body in a push-up device. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge 3 is to be loaded into a holder 4, the cartridge 3 is inserted into the holder 4 and at the same time, the holder 4 is turned to the side of a chassis 1 in accordance with the above insertion, whereas in this case, a push-up lever 23 of the push-up device 21 is oscillated in the retreating direction to protrude the cylinder body 25, but its sudden movement is prevented owing to grease (a) applied in a space with the piston body 24. Consequently, the holder 4 is slowly turned so that the collision of the magnetic head 9 against the magnetic disk can be alleviated.
