PURPOSE:To obtain a dyed cheese having uninterlacing part having loose yarn and interlacing and collecting part having loop fluff alternately in longitudinal direction and a specific state, consisting of a polyester multifilament having specific boiling water shrinkage and being excellent in level dyeing and shape stability. CONSTITUTION:A polyester multifilament yarn A is drawn between drawing rollers 6 and 7 and subjected to interlacing treatment with air interlacing nozzle 9 and heat-treated with a heater 7 to provide the dyed cheese having uninterlacing part 4 having loose yarn 1 and interlacing and collecting part 3 having loop fluff 2 alternately in the longitudinal direction and having loose yarn and loop fluff whose length being 6-60 numbers/m in >=0.5mm length and 100-700 numbers/m, having <=5% boiling water shrinkage, being small in outer and inner color difference and free from the loss of yarn.
