Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain the title polymer having rapid crystallization, providing molded articles having excellent processing properties, surface appearance, mechanical strength and heat resistance by molding of low-temperature mold by copolymerizing terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol with a specific polyalkylene glycol derivative. CONSTITUTION:(A) Terephthalic acid (derivative), (B) ethylene glycol (derivative) and (C) 0.1-10wt.% polyalkylene glycol derivative shown by the formula (R1 is alkylene; R1' is alkylene wherein one H of alkylene R1 is substituted with R2; R2 is >=10C aliphatic hydrocarbon; m+n=20-340) and having 1,000-15,000 average molecular weight are subjected to polycondensation to give the objective polyester. |
