Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of use of the driving source of an air-fuel ratio control valve by gradually extending the time for changing the opening of the air-fuel ratio control valve when the engine rotating speed is stabilized at the time of feed back control for holding the air-fuel ratio of a mixture at a theoretical value. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of an air A passed through an intake pipe 1 and sucked into an engine is regulated by the opening of a throttle 2. A fuel F is sucked out from a float chamber 3 through a main jet 4 by the pressure reducing work of the intake air, and a mixture of them is formed. An air bleed jet 5 sends a divided air Am into the main jet 4, and bubbles are generated in the inner part of the fuel P to regulate the air-fuel ratio. In this case, when the engine rotating speed is stabilized at the time of feed back control for holding the air-fuel ratio at a theoretical value, the time for changing the opening of an airfuel ratio control valve, provided in the air bleed jet 5 but not shown, is gradually extended.
