Summary:PURPOSE:To upgrade resistance to wear, increase durability, eliminate the necessity of a release agent and enhance the efficiency of molding work by selecting a material without compatibility to a material to be molded on the surface of a molding die being applied in the form of film by the deposition process such as the chemical deposition process (CVD) or the physical deposition process (PVD). CONSTITUTION:A molding die 1 is formed with a sintered material containing ceramic particles, and breathing spaces are formed among sintered particles, and a material without compatibility to a material to molde on a surface 2 of the molding die 1 is in the form of film for coating by the deposition process such as CVD or PVD process to form a deposited coating film 3. Drawing of gas in a mold cavity is carried out, and neither contraction void nor short mold is generated for a product. Further, as the material with no compatibility with the material to be molded is selected as a deposition coating film the release properties of a molded product can be upgraded with out applying a release agent even if fine recesses and projections are formed on the whole surface and a molding material bites in. Particularly coating can be carried out with high accuracy by using the PVD or CVD coating film.
