PURPOSE:To improve the integrity of body side molding construction with a body panel and improve the appearance of a vehicle body by integrally molding soft quality side rubber with a hard molding body along right and left sides thereof in a length-wise direction, and ensuring the adherence of the side rubber respectively to the molding body and body side panel in mounting the body side molding. CONSTITUTION:Body side molding 2 fitted to the side of a body for the protection and decoration thereof is constituted with a molding body 2a made of hard synthetic resin and soft side rubber 10 integrally molded with the molding body 2a. In this case, the molding body 2a is formed as a long material to be fitted to the side of the body. Also, the side rubber 10 is laid at both right and left sides of the molding body 2a in a length-wise direction thereof, and formed with a thin wall part 10a extended from the lower part of the molding body 2a aslant upward, and a closing part 10b laid on the upper end part of the thin wall part 10a. According to the aforesaid construction, the side rubber 10 is made to adhere respectively to the molding body 2a and a body side panel 11 when the molding is mounted.
