Summary:PURPOSE:To detect the occurrence of abnormal jam and to realize proper processing such as the dispatch of a service man by setting alarm data as data for controlling and calling the centralized controller of a control center in the case that the jam occurring frequency of a copying machine is over an allowable value which is intrinsic to an occurring place. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine 4, a DT (data terminal) 1, a modem 52 being as a communication terminal equipment and a telephone set 53 are installed on a user side. On the other hand, a modem 72, a telephone set 73 and a computer 90 are installed on the control center side. When the jam occurs in the copying machine 4, the newest occuring frequency is calculated each time and updated as the newest jam occuring frequency data. When the frequency is over the allowable value which is intrinsic to the occurring place, data for comparing it with a threshold value is set as the control data for transmitting by a transmission data control means and the centralized controller of the control center is called, Besides, the jam alarm data set as the control data is transmitted to the centralized controller.
